Teen Booked in Threats
A teen-ager who was expelled from La Puente High School a month ago was booked for investigation of making false bomb threats to school staff members.
James Anthony Para, 18, was arrested at his home, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. L. K. Long said Tuesday.
Para allegedly made more than 10 bomb threat calls, telling school staff members that he was a member of a terrorist organization and had planted a bomb at the school, Long said. No bombs were found, he added.
