A pedestrian trying to cross the Ventura Freeway early Saturday was killed when he was struck by three cars west of Tampa Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The 24-year-old man, a Reseda resident whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, was in the westbound lanes about 2:40 a.m. when he was hit, CHP spokeswoman Kennice Alex said.
