A soldier at Ft. Irwin was killed when he apparently stepped into the spinning tail rotor of a helicopter during a training exercise. Army officials said Spec. 4 William D. Bradshaw, 31, of Tampa, Fla., died just after debarking from the UH-1H Huey helicopter in which he had been riding to the training area. Bradshaw, a four-year Army veteran stationed at Ft. Carson, Colo., was at the Southern California desert base taking part in training exercises being held near Barstow.
