Work Starts on Woodbury Burbank Unit
Construction is under way on the $2-million, 23,000-square-foot classroom/administration building at the new Burbank campus of Woodbury University.
The structure is part of the $6.5-million construction and remodeling program under way on the 22.4-acre campus at 7500 Glenoaks Blvd., purchased from Lutheran High School last year for $6.75 million. The university will move to the new campus from downtown Los Angeles this summer, and first classes will be held in Burbank this fall.
The architects of the two-story classroom/administration building are Coleman/Caskey Architects Inc. and Van Fossen & Peterson Architects. The contractor is Swinerton and Walberg Co.
