Two trains on a Kansas City amusement park roller coaster collided, injuring nine people, including three who were stranded 40 feet above ground for 2 1/2 hours, authorities said. One of the trains, each carrying about 25 people in seven cars, was stopped at the loading station when a second train ran into its rear, said Sherry Schmitt, a spokeswoman for the Worlds of Fun amusement park. Eight of the injured were treated at a hospital and released.
