An eight-month investigation of cocaine sales at the long-idle Rancho Seco nuclear power plant resulted in the arrest of six people, including two employees. Dennis Freelove, supervising special agent of the state Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement, said Dawn Marie Darling, 24, of Galt, a clerk typist, was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine for sale and multiple sales of cocaine, while Richard Carl Brousseau of Sacramento, a utility worker, was held on suspicion of possession of paraphernalia and multiple sales of cocaine. Both are employees of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, which owns the 913-megawatt plant that has been shut down for 17 months. Also arrested on various drug-related charges were Christa Brousseau of Sacramento, Gary Eugene Smith and Wendy Smith of Placerville, and Raymond Earl Wilson, 50, of Placerville.
