Fourth of July

As the Fourth of July celebration nears, please pass on to your friends, acquaintances and relatives a plea not to fire any guns in the air.

Be reminded that last New Year’s Eve a pregnant woman was hit by a stray bullet and two bullets came through my mother’s roof into her bed. Had she been home she probably would have been killed or seriously injured. This year it could be your relative, or even you, that is hit with a stray bullet. What used to be a fun time of year has become a nightmare for some; it’s the unseen enemy.
