Skeletal remains found in a wooded ravine near Seattle were identified as those of a girl listed as a victim of the Green River killer, who first struck five years ago this summer. The announcement increased the number of known victims to 37 women, with an additional nine missing and presumed to be victims in the nation’s worst unsolved serial murders. The remains, found in Auburn, were those of Cindy Anne Smith, who was 17 when she was last seen March 21, 1984, King County Police spokesman Dick Larson said.
