Two moderate earthquakes rocked the Aleutian Islands in southwestern Alaska, the Tsunami Warning Center reported. Center spokesman Alec Madbery said an earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale struck Sunday afternoon, 90 miles southeast of Adak. An earthquake measuring 5.3 occurred early in the day in the same area. No damage or injuries were reported.
