CINEPLEXY
“Potential” traffic problem at Universal City Cinemas (Outtakes, by Leonard Klady, July 5)?
You must be kidding! After spending 30 minutes in bumper-to-bumper traffic, inching my way up the “new easy access road,” I began to get a bit irritated.
When it took another 15 minutes to park and get to the theaters, I was not having a good time. When I found I couldn’t get my $3.50 parking fee refunded because I took the wrong receipt to the box office, I seriously thought of throttling the nearest smiling Cineplex employee.
A fun-filled Saturday night at the movies? I’ve had more laughs at rush hour on the San Diego Freeway, and I get to do that for free.
Universal had better address this “potential problem” soon. I know I won’t be returning to this “Movie Theater From Hell” until they do.
