Huntington Beach : Applications Available for New Advisory Panel
Volunteers are being sought for Huntington Beach’s new Hazardous Materials Advisory Board.
Residents and merchants who generate, treat or haul hazardous waste, as well as regulators and scientists who study toxic materials, are encouraged to apply. The advisory body was created by the City Council to help develop plans for reducing, recycling and treating hazardous waste by the early 1990s.
The advisory board will meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. in the Huntington Beach Civic Center, 2000 Main St.
