Gang member Keith Tyrone Fudge was convicted of two additional counts of first-degree murder in connection with an October, 1984, South Los Angeles birthday party shooting in which five teen-agers were killed. The Los Angeles Superior Court jury, which found Fudge guilty Monday of killing three party-goers with a rifle, also decided that he was responsible for the deaths of Shannon Cannon, 14, and Darryl Coleman, 17. Prosecutors believe that Cannon and Coleman were gunned down outside a home on West 54th Street by Fudge’s fellow gang member, Fred Knight, who is awaiting trial. A penalty trial for Fudge, whom the jury deemed eligible for the death penalty, was set for Aug. 18.
