4 People Hurt After Cow Runs Amok in Amsterdam

AMSTERDAM — A cow on the rampage injured four people, two seriously, Friday after it broke loose at an Amsterdam slaughterhouse and fled toward the city center.
A mother snatched her baby to safety only seconds before the cow crashed into its carriage during the wild run through the city, police said. Police and staff from a zoo chased the animal for 20 minutes before shooting it with a sedative injection.
