Santee
A 7-year-old boy suffered a broken leg Tuesday when he was hit by a patrol car driven by a sheriff’s deputy responding to a call in Santee, authorities said.
Shadi Khouri, who lives on the 10800 block of Ramsgate Drive in Santee, rode his push-scooter into the intersection of Ramsgate and Kenesaw Court about 7 p.m., directly in front of a sheriff’s patrol car heading west on Kenesaw, according to Deputy Mark Jones.
Khouri was flown by Life Flight helicopter to Children’s Hospital, where he was listed in good condition on Wednesday.
