MOUTH THAT SUED
Raye’s $10-million lawsuit against Letterman is ludicrous. If anything, she should be happy her name was used before such a large audience. This might lend credence to her dental ad pitches. No one thinks she is promiscuous. In comedy’s name she could be accused of far worse moral judgments than practicing cautious sex.
Public figures, especially those who use their familiarity to appear in commercials, lend themselves to satire. I hope Raye comes to her senses and accepts Letterman’s public apology and drops her vendetta.
