UCI, San Francisco State Women Tie in Soccer

Kim Cusimano of UC Irvine scored with three minutes remaining as the Anteaters and San Francisco State finished in a 2-2 tie in overtime Saturday in a women’s soccer match at Pomona.

Jeannie Ablett scored UCI’s first goal with 25 minutes remaining in the first half with an assist from Cusimano.

Goalie Robin Monico helped the Anteaters with nine saves.

Irvine will play host to Chico State in its home opener Monday at 1 p.m. at Crawford Field.
