Hollywood Redevelopment

As a resident and property owner in Hollywood since 1948, I want to congratulate the fine investigating reporting done by Ferrell.

It has been common knowledge among those of us who attended the PAC meetings that the majority of the members were not serving the interests of the community, but the interests of out-of-town developers.

We who have lived and worked for many years in Hollywood want it revitalized. We want a new livable redevelopment plan--one that serves its citizens. Many of us have worked hard to acquire our homes and do not want to be bulldozed out of them with eminent domain. If we are, then it’s no different than living in the Soviet Union.
