Former House of Representatives Speaker Thomas P. (Tip) O’Neill will make his film debut opposite Peter O’Toole in a film being made in Ireland, the Irish Press newspaper reported Tuesday. O’Neill, 74, who has already appeared in commercials and in a cameo in the popular TV series “Cheers,” will play an American businessman in the film, “High Spirits,” a $14-million production directed by Neil Jordan (“Mona Lisa”).
