‘Dog-Owning Has Had Its Day’

Perhaps instead of dwelling on the negative aspects of owning a dog, McCarthy would do well to understand the undying love, loyalty and companionship that most dogs give to their owners, especially when these feelings are returned. (If an owner wants to spend money on his dog, that’s his business not McCarthy’s).

McCarthy’s diatribe justifies my increasing viewpoint that I’d rather be in the company of an intelligent, loving dog than most human beings--like McCarthy!
