Costa Mesa : Residents Get Chance to Name New City Park
Costa Mesa residents will get the chance to name a new city park.
Residents can choose any name--even their own--for the 210-acre park site along Placentia Avenue, north of Estancia High School. The City Council will select the winner, whose name will be placed on the dedication plaque.
Interested residents can pick up entry forms at the Department of Leisure Services in City Hall, Room 305, 77 Fair Drive, or may use forms provided in the Costa Mesa Recreation Review Fall Edition. Deadline for entries is October 2, and all entries will receive acknowledgment from the Department of Leisure Services.
