Infotec Awarded Contract to Run Computer Center in Oregon

Santa Ana-based Infotec Development has been awarded a $7-million contract to run the computer center of the Bonneville Power Administration in Portland, Ore.

The contract calls for Infotec’s Portland facility to operate and maintain Bonneville’s mainframe IBM computer system and nearly two dozen other computers, including the maintenance and upgrading of software.

Infotec is a high-tech company working in space operations, training systems engineering, software design and development and computer center operation. It has signed about $60 million worth of new contracts in the last six months.
