Jessica Hahn Had AIDS Test After Liberace Dinner
NEW YORK — Jessica Hahn said she took an AIDS test after she shared food with her “good friend” Liberace, who died early this year of AIDS-related complications, a published report said today.
The one-time church secretary, who made headlines with a topless Playboy picture spread and an article claiming she was forced to have sex with TV evangelist James Bakker, told the Daily News she took the blood test in November, 1986, because she ate food from Liberace’s plate.
The test results were negative, the News said. Health experts have said the acquired immune deficiency syndrome is not transmitted through casual contact, including sharing food.
Hahn told the newspaper she visited with Liberace while he was performing at Radio City Music Hall last year and also visited his West Coast home.
