NBA Is Expected to Announce Its Approval of a $5.7-Million Settlement With Clippers
The National Basketball Assn. is expected to announce today that it has officially approved the out-of-court, $5.7-million settlement worked out with the Clippers in the league’s $25-million lawsuit over the team’s move from San Diego.
“The votes are in, and I think they’re all affirmative,” said Andy Roeser, Clipper executive vice president in charge of business operations. “They’re just taking care of last-minute details.”
Brian McIntyre, NBA public relations director, said the league office will issue a statement today.
