Michael Olajide and 1984 Olympic champion Frank Tate will fight for the vacant International Boxing Federation title today at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The three 160-pound championships have been vacant since Sugar Ray Leonard defeated Marvin Hagler April 6, then retired.
Olajide, a 22-year-old native of Liverpool, England, lives in New York. He is 23-0 with 16 knockouts.
Tate, a 23-year-old Detroit native who lives in Houston, is 20-0 with 12 knockouts.
