Syracuse, DePaul, Georgetown on St. John’s Garden Basketball Schedule

NEW YORK —  St. John’s will play Rutgers, Syracuse, DePaul and Georgetown as part of the 1987-88 college basketball schedule announced by Madison Square Garden.

A total of five college basketball events will be presented during the 1987-88 season.

The Redmen will launch the Garden’s regular season schedule when they face Rutgers on Tuesday, Jan. 12.

St. John’s will oppose Big East rivals Syracuse and Georgetown as conference action heats up in February. The Orange will provide the opposition in a rare single afternoon game on Saturday, Feb. 6. Georgetown will meet St. John’s on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
