Pope John Paul II, CEO
Regarding the article about Pope John Paul II, who controls the workings of the Catholic Church “in many ways parallel to that of men who have run massive corporations” (“John Paul II, CEO,” by Don A. Schanche, Sept. 13). Perhaps the Catholic Church is losing many of its members due to the fact that it tries to control its congregations through fear and power, not unlike the large corporations.
