Local News in Brief : Motorcyclist Killed in Studio City Collision
A man riding a motorcycle was struck and killed by a car in a traffic accident in Studio City early Sunday, police said.
The victim, whose name was not released by police pending the notification of next of kin, was hit by a motorist near the intersection of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Berry Drive about 4:30 a.m., Los Angeles police Sgt. Dennis Ruegsegger said. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
The driver of the car was not cited, Ruegsegger said.
