Northridge’s Huffman Honored by WFC
Quarterback Rob Huffman of Cal State Northridge has been selected offensive player of the week in the Western Football Conference for his performance Saturday in a 56-36 victory over Southern Utah State.
Huffman completed 16 of 21 passes for 261 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Matadors accumulated 504 total yards. He also rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown. It was the best performance of the season for the junior transfer from Glendale College.
He came into the game averaging 105.8 yards a game passing and had completed only 44% of his passes.
