Valley Vies for Conference Water Polo Title
Valley College can clinch the Southern California Conference water polo title with a victory over Rio Hondo today.
The Monarchs snapped a two-way tie for first with a recent 10-9 victory over San Bernardino. They are 4-1 in conference play going into today’s season finale.
If Valley finishes in first place, it will play the last-place team in the conference playoffs beginning Nov. 6 at Rio Hondo.
If the Monarchs lose Friday and finish tied for first, a coin toss will decide the conference’s No. 1 representative.
