Circuit Court Judge Arthur Franza in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has denied bond to a mother convicted of driving her teen-age daughter to suicide because psychological evaluations indicate the woman may also be suicidal. He offered to consider placing Theresa Jackson in a private mental hospital. Jackson’s 17-year-old daughter, Tina Mancini, killed herself in March, 1986. Prosecutors argued that Jackson mentally abused her daughter by coercing her to dance naked and charging her rent.
