Encinitas
Two Encinitas residents were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of possession and distribution of cocaine and methamphetamine after sheriff’s deputies raided their home near San Dieguito High School.
Rodrigo Ramirez Carillo, 21, and Ernestina Uribe, 46, were booked at County Jail in Vista on felony charges of possessing and distributing cocaine and methamphetamine and possessing and cultivating marijuana.
Sheriff’s Department spokesman George Gardner said seven deputies from the street narcotics team and three from the Encinitas station served a search warrant at the home in the 1100 block of Evergreen Drive at 7:30 a.m.
Four ounces of cocaine, an ounce of methamphetamine, a pound of marijuana, $1,000 in cash, a .45-caliber semiautomatic pistol and several marijuana plants were found at the house, Gardner said.
