Football fans will learn the name of this year’s top collegiate player when CBS airs the “Heisman Trophy Awards Show” this afternoon.

Viewers looking for a break from the typical weekend mix of football and basketball have two alternatives today. NBC’s “SportsWorld” offers the World Professional Figure Skating Championships at 2:30 p.m. (4)(36)(39), while CBS covers the annual horse jumping championship from Madison Square Garden at 3 p.m. (2).
