Henigan Is Selected MVP in Sunset League
David Henigan of Fountain Valley High School, who passed for 1,356 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, was named the Sunset League most valuable player in a vote of the league’s football coaches.
Huntington Beach running back Jason McGehee was named the league’s offensive player of the year, and Fountain Valley defensive and Reza Mehdizadeh was named defensive player of the year.
Guy Carrozzo of Ocean View and Mike Milner of Fountain Valley were named co-coaches of the year.
