A glut of oil and concern over this week’s OPEC meeting sent oil prices broadly lower. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, contracts for January delivery of West Texas Intermediate, the benchmark U.S. crude oil, closed at $18.25 per 42-gallon barrel, down 49 cents from Friday.
