UCLA Women Beat Monmouth College, 81-62
The UCLA women’s basketball team scored the first eight points of the second half to take a 41-29 lead and went on to defeat Monmouth College, 81-62, Tuesday night in West Long Branch, N.J.
The Bruins were led by senior guard Jaime Brown, who came off the bench to score 18 points. Sophomore center Sheri Bouldin, playing in her hometown, added a career-high 17.
UCLA, which shot just 30% in the first half, improved its record to 4-5. Monmouth, which never got closer than eight points in the second half, is 4-3.
