Huntington Beach : 3 Stabbing Victims Remain in Hospitals
Three juveniles, one in serious condition, remained hospitalized Monday from stab wounds sustained after a weekend birthday party ended in a fight.
The youths, all Vietnamese, had attended a party held at Murdy Park Recreation Center when violence broke out about 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the center’s parking lot, Police Lt. Edward McErlain said.
The identities of the victims were not released because they are juveniles, McErlain said.
Three Vietnamese adults arrested immediately after the party were released Monday after investigators determined that they were not involved in the fight, McErlain said.
A 17-year-old youth was reported in serious condition at UCI Medical Center. Another, 16, was reported in stable condition at the same hospital. The third victim, also 17, was in good condition at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center.
