TORONTO — Nearly half of Canadians are dissatisfied with Brian Mulroney’s performance as prime minister, a poll conducted by Decima Research indicates.
The poll, published in this week’s issue of Maclean’s magazine, shows that approval of the federal government remains similar to a year ago, with 40% giving the government a “C”grade, compared to 44% in 1986. But on the overall performance of Mulroney, 49% said they are dissatisfied, compared to 42% in 1986.
