Long Beach Takes On Fullerton Tonight
Cal State Long Beach will play Cal State Fullerton, a team it hasn’t defeated since 1984, in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. opener tonight at 7:30 in the 49er gym.
The 49ers, who have lost seven straight times to the Titans, are 6-3 overall this season and 3-0 at home, while Fullerton is 4-5 overall and 0-5 on the road.
Guard Morlon Wiley leads Long Beach with a 20.6-points-a-game average. Fullerton’s top scorers are guard Richard Morton, averaging 24 points, and forward Henry Turner, averaging 17.
