COMING ATTRACTIONS
Photographs of Marilyn Monroe shot in 1955 following her divorce from Joe DiMaggio go on exhibit at the G. Ray Hawkins Gallery in West Hollywood on Saturday. The photos, allegedly lost in a New York warehouse for more than 30 years, also will be featured in a 12-page layout “Marilyn: Lost Images” in February’s L.A. Style magazine. The photos were recently located by Venice-based archivist Michael Ochs and were shot by photographer Ed Feingersh working on assignment for Redbook magazine in 1955. That was the period following Monroe’s divorce from DiMaggio when she left Los Angeles for a stay in Connecticut. An interview with Arthur Miller, who met and fell in love with Monroe during that time, will accompany the magazine layout.
