McDonald’s Corp. is the favorite fast-food chain of Americans who prefer hamburger restaurants above all others, a trade paper said. The weekly Nation’s Restaurant News said 23% of the 1,000 people polled about fast-food chains cited McDonald’s as their favorite; 17% liked Burger King; 13% picked Wendy’s, and 5% chose Hardee’s. The trade paper said women were more likely to pick McDonald’s, while Burger King was preferred more by men.
