Local News in Brief : Gang Ordered to Stop Bullying in Burbank
A Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner Friday ordered a gang to stop intimidating and harassing residents of a Burbank neighborhood.
Commissioner H. George Taylor issued the temporary restraining order in response to complaints by residents of the 1200 block of North Brighton Street, said Burbank City Atty. Douglas C. Holland.
Holland said the gang, the North Hollywood Boyz, had been congregating for at least two months at a home on the block. He said one of the gang members lives at the address.
With the order, the gang also is prohibited from congregating at the address, Holland said. Taylor scheduled a Thursday hearing to consider a preliminary injunction on the matter.
