John Kordic of the Montreal Canadiens and Gord Donnelly of the Quebec Nordiques have received five-game suspensions for two separate altercations. Kordic and Donnelly received major penalties for an altercation immediately after the opening face-off on Feb. 20. Three nights later, they received major and gross misconduct penalties for an altercation before the game.
