Robert A. Fischer has been named president of the Computervision division of Prime Computer Inc. Computervision will become the manufacturing industry sales and marketing organization once the merger of the two companies is completed. Fischer previously was president of Prime’s CAD/CAM and workstation/terminals business group.

R. L. Brubaker has been named president of the commercial and technical industries sales and marketing organization. Brubaker previously was vice president-worldwide sales.

Robert L. Gable, president and chief executive of Computervision Corp., will leave the merged company at the end of March to pursue personal interests. Gable will serve as a consultant to Prime to ensure the smooth integration of the two companies.
