Bowen Is Named Top Player in Orange League
Chris Bowen, a forward who helped lead Western High School to a 17-8 record this season, was named the most valuable player of the Orange League by the league’s boys’ basketball coaches.
Bowen averaged 21 points and 9 rebounds a game and helped Western to a third-place finish. Tom Gregory, who led Savanna to the league championship with a 22-5 record, was named the league’s coach of the year. FIRST TEAM
