Local News in Brief : Cypress : Suspect Sought in Rape in Condo Parking Lot
Police were searching Wednesday for a suspect in the rape of a 30-year-old woman in a condominium complex parking lot.
The woman, whose name was withheld, was attacked Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. while walking through the lot of Tanglewood condominiums in the 4700 block of Larwin Avenue, police said. The woman was grabbed from behind by an unknown assailant and forced into a secluded walkway where she was raped, police said.
The woman told police that her attacker fled on foot. But a search of the area by several officers and police dogs turned up no sign of the suspect, police said.
An investigation is continuing.
