Last Rites for Mortgage Banker Ronald Prager, 48, Scheduled
Last rites will be conducted today for Ronald Harvey Prager, an executive at Far West Savings & Loan Assn. in Irvine.
The mortgage banker died Monday of a heart attack, according to his daughter, Eileen Prager, 26, of Irvine. He was 48.
Burial services will be held at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn-Sunnyside Mortuary in Long Beach.
Prager, of Huntington Beach, was vice president for real estate and major loans at Far West and had been a mortgage banker since his graduation from Temple University in 1961.
He was moderating a professional seminar at Cal Poly Pomona when he died, said his son, Michael, 24, of San Francisco. Prager, national president of the Assn. of Corporate Real Estate Executives, was a frequent lecturer at mortgage banking seminars, Michael Prager said.
Prager also was a fund-raiser for the City of Hope Hospital in Duarte.
Besides Eileen and Michael, he is survived by his wife, Myrna, 48, and daughters Lori, 23, and Sharon, 19, all of Huntington Beach.
