Civil Rights Restoration Act
The civil rights bill is a direct slap to all Christianity, and everything that is good and respectable in this country.
The bill is entitled Civil Rights Restoration Act. But rather than just restoring some civil rights that may have been lost by this Administration, this act is breaking new ground in a deliberate act of sabotage of our whole Christian community. Its implementation would mean no Christian church or school would be allowed to exclude from enrollment or employment any persons who presented themselves as homosexuals or of a religious conviction that would be opposed to the word of God.
This legislation would violate the First Amendment to the Constitution. Christians have noticed that the morality in public schools has gone downhill. These schools reflect the morality of the public in general. This is why we have reverted to church-run schools. Yet Satan, through our elected officials, is trying to destroy all Christian teachings.
Our church schools are an extension of our churches and this is another foot in the door for our government to tell the churches what can and can’t be taught.
In my opinion, the church teachings have gone out of our government. That is why we as Christians have to be on top of legislation like this, and vote against all legislators who are up for reelection and voted to override the President’s veto.
