Joli Val Ltd. has acquired St. Andrews Winery in the Napa Valley for an undisclosed sum. The company, a subsidiary of Clos du Val Wine Co., said it purchased the 15,000-case winery from Imre Vizkelety. Joli Val also has a long-term contract for 67 acres of Napa Valley vineyard land. Clos du Val and Joli Val are owned by investor John Goelet and wine maker Bernard Portet. St. Andrews, which specializes in Chardonnay and Sauvignon blanc, is situated just north of the city of Napa and three miles south of Clos du Val.
