CSUN, CLU Sign Basketball Players
Cal State Northridge signed one basketball player and received verbal commitments from three others, including David Barnett, the second-leading scorer among state junior college players.
Kris Brodowki, a 6-foot, 6-inch forward from Cypress College, has signed with the Matadors. Barnett, a 6-1 guard, averaged 25.9 points a game. Also committing to CSUN were Brian Preiss, a 6-9 forward from Santa Monica City College, and Sandy Brown, a 6-0 guard from state champion Manual Arts High.
Cal Lutheran signed Brad Adam, a 5-10 guard who led Crescenta Valley in scoring (21.7) The Kingsmen also received a verbal commitment from Damon Charlot, a 6-3 forward from Cleveland High.
