Local News in Brief : Costa Mesa : OCC Alumni Awards $4,634 in Grants
The Orange Coast College Alumni Assn. has awarded a total $4,634 in grants to five campus groups.
The association has presented $1,134 to the Children’s Center, which provides child-care services for OCC students. The grant will be used to buy six new cribs.
Three other grants of $1,000 each were awarded to OCC’s library, Community Service Office and Physical Education Department. A $500 grant was given to the Food Service Department.
